Project Overview

This enterprise web system manages the end-to-end production lifecycle of medical devices within a regulated manufacturing environment. It replaced a collection of disconnected spreadsheets and manual paper-based processes with a centralised, auditable digital workflow.

Technical Highlights

Built on Laravel with a MySQL backend, the system uses Laravel's policy layer for granular access control without bloating controllers. PDF generation is handled by a queue-backed job to avoid blocking HTTP responses on large compliance reports. The audit log is an event-sourced append-only table — no records are ever mutated or deleted, satisfying regulatory traceability requirements.
